Crochet Kawaii Cuddlers

Earlier this year, I came across the website 3am Grace Designs, run by two women who love to crochet cute things. I fell in love with their kawaii cuddlers instantly and decided to start making them.

The look pretty complicated to make but the truth is, if you can single crochet, you can make these. In addition to the yarn, which they recommend at the beginning of each pattern, you will also need small amounts of poly-fil, 12mm or 15mm doll eyes, and maybe some puff paint and fabric glue. I use Poly-Fil’s Ultra Plush Super Soft because it makes the cuddlers sooooooo soft and squishy.

The cuddlers are essentially 2 equal panels of the design sewn together. If you’re unfamiliar with changing colors in crochet, here’s a quick tutorial from Planet June:

The BEST part of these cuddlers, is that MOST of them are available for FREE! (although you will have to pay for the pattern if you want a printable version of the pattern). Premium patterns are available for a nominal price.

Here are the one’s I’ve finished so far.
