Any photographer that photographs the Flaming Lips has to get at least one shot of Wayne Coyne surfing in the bubble. We were literally face to face for a moment but I needed to protect my gear as it was pure chaos around me. As soon as he was passed over, I started shooting. Mine may not be the best, but it’s mine. This was at Firefly Music Festival and the first time in at least 18 years that I had a chance to see them.

I’ve had most, if not all, of my religious experiences at concerts. This was definitely one of them!
