I had the amazing joy of photographing Coldplay in December 2012 when they played the Mohegan Sun arena in Connecticut. There were only three photographers in the pit that night and we had generous roam of the t-shaped stage space, although we were relegated to just the right side. When the confetti cannons burst, I got lost in the roar of the crowd and almost forgot to take pictures. I can’t imagine what is going through Chris Martin’s mind as he’s running down the length of the stage in a blizzard of day glo butterflies, hearts, and stars.
