I took this photo several years ago, of all places, in the parking lot of the Fairchild Botanical Gardens in Miami. He was just sitting there on the rock wall next to my car. I knew I had to act quickly and grab the camera without scaring it off. It’s called a red-headed agama lizard. They turn orange and black, or sometimes red and blue, during mating season then back to regular old brown when they’re not.
