I am thankful that your stepmother finally sent me this. I thought it was precious how they timed it so perfectly so that it would arrive on mine and Matt’s wedding anniversary last year. LOL What did they think was going to happen? haha Matt was happy for me that I got it back finally. It’s all I’ve wanted.

You never got to meet your grandmother, something I’ve struggled with for 23 years-but I know her spirit thrives in you-god, if you only knew how much. She would have turned the world upside down for you. Your grandfather is there-he also adored you like nothing else. I remember the time I let him just take you to Coney Island without me. I cried the whole day worried you’d get hurt on a ride and I wasn’t going to be there in case he couldn’t handle you.
You were just a baby when your great grandparents came to meet you. Great grandma is there too. She used to make these really tacky baby things with tacky fabric and lace. But they were full of love for you. You have a whole lot of family right here in this video that you never got to know and I’m really sorry you feel no connection nor love for any of them. I’m so sorry you did not get to have that rich, fulfilling experience of your Latina side. There’s always time.
