This Time La Luna

We lasted about 2 weeks after Ninja’s passing and my birthday soon came. I couldn’t stand not having a cat in the house. Impulsivity gave way to the hunt for a new furball to love.

A few days later, 4 month old Amber popped on the shelter’s website. I put in an application immediately. The next day, we had an appointment to meet her. She was so tiny and she took to us immediately, flopping over and offering her belly for all the teeny rubs.

Amber came home a few days before Christmas, making it as perfect as it could be. Against the protestations of the child, I insisted we had to change her name. She is silver, but also beige, and her skin is pink as a piggie. She looks pink in the window depending on the light coming in. She’s also the first cat I’ve ever had that plays fetch and she gives ZERO FUCKS about your personal space. We love our sweet little Luna. She’s chill and sweet and fits in quite well in our tiny fam.

OF COURSE, she has an Instagram page. Watch her silly butt grow @Lunabizkits

Please consider adoption! Our shelter had free adoptions in December, but we donated several bags of food and cleaning supplies that they’re always in need of. Most shelters have a low adoption fee and will include your new furball getting spayed/neutered and chipped.
