De Colores Arts Collective Inc a public non-profit, established to celebrate and share Hispanic art and culture, supporting the artists who carry it forward, and spreading cultural awareness and knowledge across the region we call home.

We exist as a collective, where the members come together to share and learn from one another, and to embrace AND create opportunities in the artistic communities in rural counties outside of Indianapolis. The Collective is open to EVERYONE..whether or not you’re Hispanic, whether or not you live in Shelbyville. This guild exists with everyone’s collaboration.

Programming goals include: smaller craft/art shows, one larger cultural festival, partnerships with the rural schools and their art programs, putting on performances, bringing in guest artists to hold lectures and so much more. The charitable arm of the non-profit will use a portion of proceeds from events to pay down school lunch debts.

Our 501c3 is currently pending, I should know within a couple more weeks if we’ve been granted 501c3 status. To learn more about the collective, visit decoloresartscollective.org.
