The Florence Griswold Museum located in Old Lyme, CT currently has an exhibit running through November 2 dedicated to two of my favorite things: steampunk and “Alice in Wonderland”.  It’s a great way to explore the museum and grounds.

Cleverly scattered throughout the property, it’s a literary maze of quirky things, each stop focused on part of the story with discoveries to be made at each stop. Fall down the rabbit hole, stop by Caterpillar’s hookah garden, meet the Cheshire cat, crash the Hatter’s tea party-each display more curiouser than the next.

From their website:

In keeping with the time period of the Alice stories, this year’s Wee Faerie Village will combine natural materials with vintage found elements to create installations inspired by the popular Steampunk movement.
