Monoprinting lessons start March 4th

Starting March 4th, I will be teaching hands-on gel plate printing classes and I’d love to have you join me. Lessons will be held thru SAGA at the Gallery in downtown Shelbyville.

Whether you’ve never touched a gel plate or you’re ready to dive into layering and image transfers(we won’t be doing image transfers on day one), these classes are designed to be exploratory, low-pressure, and actually fun. We’ll start with the basics and build from there – no rigid curriculum, just some visual instruction and room to experiment. If you are interested in hiring me for a party, or team-building activity, there’s more information on the parties page. Recommended age is 13+. This is not a free workshop; you must register and pay in advance.

About the class:

  • All materials provided (plates, paints, paper, tools – I’ve got you covered)
  • Hands-on instruction in a supportive setting
  • 2-3 original prints to take home each session
  • Access to techniques you can keep using on your own

Pricing: Only $30/per person but space is limited to 10 people per class.

SPRING 2026 Dates: Pick from – March 4th | March 18th | April 1st | April 15th, May 6th | May 20th. Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter or follow me on Facebook to be notified of any delays or cancellations.

Classes meet at SAGA at the Gallery building located at 5 Public Square, Shelbyville on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.

We will be working with acrylic paint so don’t wear your nicest shirt!
