I’m so glad I was alive at the right time for the Beastie Boys.

The day MCA died, I went to the premiere of the very first Avengers movie when Madison came on the satellite radio crying. Never heard her cry before, but she got through it and announced MCA had died. Thank god credits are like 15 minutes long because that’s how long I sat in the car crying.

Even moreso than Kurt, MCA and the Beasties had a profound impact on my life. I am so glad I got to see them live so many times. They are, were, and always will be, legendary.
